What does a VIN check include?
Our free VIN check includes: vehicle specs (make, model, trim, engine, transmission, drivetrain), open NHTSA safety recalls with severity ratings, current market pricing and days-on-lot data, price history, dealer information, and owner complaint data filed with NHTSA.
Where do I find my VIN number?
The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is a 17-character code found on: the dashboard (visible through the windshield on the driver's side), the driver's door jamb sticker, your vehicle title or registration, and your insurance card. It contains letters and numbers but never I, O, or Q.
Does this replace a Carfax report?
